Kevin Foote is a high-performance coach and leadership consultant
recognized for his ability to build connected, high-performing teams and
inspire people to thrive under pressure. With over two decades of
experience in elite sport and leadership, Kevin combines authenticity,
emotional intelligence, and a deep understanding of team culture to drive
lasting performance transformation.
Currently serving as Head Coach of the Junior Springboks, Kevin recently
led South Africa to victory in the World Rugby U20 Championship — their
first title in 12 years. His success reflects his people-first leadership
philosophy: performance follows people. When individuals feel seen,
supported, and challenged, they rise collectively to achieve extraordinary
outcomes.
Kevin’s coaching journey began after a distinguished playing career, where
he captained the South African Sevens team on the international stage. He
later guided the University of Cape Town Ikey Tigers to a historic Varsity Cup
championship before embarking on a successful coaching career in
Australia, including serving as Head Coach of the Melbourne Rebels in
Super Rugby.
Across every role, Kevin has been known for cultivating environments of
trust, accountability, and purpose — the foundations of sustainable success.
Today, he partners with leaders, teams, and organisations to translate the
principles of high-performance sport into powerful lessons for business and
life. His work focuses on leadership mindset, cultural alignment, and team
cohesion, helping people and organisations perform with clarity,
connection, and conviction
