Dian Heunis (born 2003) is a robust South African rugby union prop, celebrated for his scrummaging strength and physical dominance in the front row. His international bow came at the 2023 World Rugby Under-20 Championship in Cape Town, where he earned a starting spot for the Junior Springboks against Argentina on July 4. Making his debut as the uncapped tighthead prop, Heunis anchored the scrum in a hard-fought 30-13 loss, impressing with his stability under pressure despite the result. This capped a whirlwind year, cementing his reputation as a reliable set-piece operator with growth potential in loose play.
